Many will tell you that offline tactics are too expensive and don&#8217;t work anymore but that&#8217;s simply untrue. Direct mail which is targeted still is extremely effective for generating real estate leads and also very cost effective.</p><p>There are many real estate marketing techniques which are effective online including craigslist, realtor.com, backpage.com, and google adwords which are locally targeted. Facebook pages and Facebook pay per click for real estate (also called social ads) can be targeted geographically and demographically.</p><p>When you&#8217;re looking for buyers and property sellers online is a great place to go but never forget the tried and true offline tactics of direct mail postcards and letters, roadside signs, flyers (distributed by college students who can be found on craigslist or facebook or myspace) and even newspaper classified ads.</p><p>Someone may have told you classified ads are dead but they&#8217;re not. It&#8217;s great that fewer people use them because that means better deals for you and less competition so your ad gets seen more.</p><div
